The Financial Analyst is responsible for monthly financial consolidation, distribution center accounting, Internal Control documentation and various analyses needed to assist management in decision making.  Tasks include journal entry preparation, assuring Sarbanes Compliance, SAP inventory reconciliation, SAP production order reconciliations, SAP cycle count reconciliations, SAP Standard costing support, balance sheet reconciliations, and calculation of commission and rebate payments.  Analyze financial information and make appropriate recommendations.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Reconcile SAP inventory and production order accounts
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of balance sheet and P&L account through regular monthly analysis
  • Sarbanes Oxley Internal Control Documentation and Validation
  • Perform and support Fixed Asset and Annual Plant physical inventory observation
  • Calculate monthly commissions and rebates payable
  • Assist division controller manager as needed with budget compilation
  • Perform annual Internal audits
  • Coordinate the gathering of data and the preparation of all internal reports, assuring their accuracy and timely submission
  • Effectively communicate with management, field associates and customers to accomplish necessary       objectives

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS or BBA in Accounting, Business or Finance
  • Minimum of 3 yrs experience in public or industrial accounting
  • Knowledge or experience with JD Edwards, SAP or Sarbanes Oxley
  • Expert skill level in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organization and interpersonal skills
