Summary of Responsibility:  The Customer Service Representative provides customer support through calls or e-mails;handles inquiries, reports complaints and provides general information to both internal and external Timken customers.  The positionis responsible for performing analysis of customer orders and has direct responsiblity for maintaining a professional manner in handling the customer's requirements.  The CSR is responsible for processing orders, advising customers regarding product status, advising management of crucial changes in customer order patterns and any serious conflict that may occur that could be detrimental to continued business relationships.

Education and Experience Required: High School diploma required with additional education in a related field or 5 years proven experience/knowledge of customer service (preferably call center environment) or related business.  Must have strong communication skills, both oral and written with advanced proficiency in Microsoft office applications. Excellent organizational skills and high tolerance for pressure generated from problem situations.
