Purpose and Scope

Provide support to Process Engineers as well as customers, production team, sales department, and management team to insure fulfillment of customer requirements and increase customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree (Electrical Engineering Technology and/or Mechanical Engineering Technology)
  • Course completion in & proficiency with CAD software (Autodesk, SolidWorks)
  • Course completion in & proficiency in Technical Mathematics
  • Proficient communication skills (oral & written)
  • 5 years of work experience with electric motors (condition monitoring, maintenance, overhaul, preventative maintenance) preferred
  • Fundamental knowledge of workplace safety
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel (infrequently)
  • Willingness to continue education through training classes / seminars

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Engineering team as well as customers, production team, sales department, and quality control department.
  • Communication liaison for internal and external customers.
  • Perform root cause failure analysis investigations and formally report findings.
  • Support Engineering team in development of product work scope, sales quotations, repair schedules, and service reports.
  • Review, create, and update engineering drawings.
  • Travel may occasionally be required to customer locations (to attend project meetings, perform condition assessment of complaint products – travel quantified as infrequent)
  • Travel to and attend training classes / seminars (travel quantified as infrequent)
  • Additional tasks as required
