Purpose of Position

The Manager of Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is an integral part of the finance team, supporting the CFO and reporting to the Assistant Group Controller. The Corporate FP&A Manager will assist with the preparation of Executive, Board and Investor Relations reporting and analysis, coordinate the corporate forecasting process, and manage two financial analysts.

Essential Responsibilities

  1. Support decision making and problem solving for the CFO, VP Finance and CAO, VP Group Controller and Assistant Group Controller. 
  2. Support monthly and quarterly performance reporting and analysis for Executives, Board and Investor Relations - this includes variance, trend and root cause analysis.
  3. Lead financial forecast process - this includes evaluation for reasonableness and identification of risks and opportunities.
  4. Lead the annual business planning and long range planning processes.
  5. Lead and develop two financial analysts.
  6. Develop tactics for continuous improvement, standardization, prioritization, and balancing of analytical capacity.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (or related) and 10 years of relevant work experience; or
  • Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (or related) or MBA and 7 years of relevant work experience
  • CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred
