The Quality Manager has the responsibility for executing, supporting activities and maintenance of the quality management system. The Quality Manager is responsible for development and application of data and tests to assure quality standards for company products. This position works with engineering to provides technical support and all quality/process related issues. Performs statistical analysis and submits detailed reports for decision making. Is in the lookout for improvement opportunities to develop new efficient procedures. Actively participates in production meetings. This position supervises and mentors one part time direct report.


  • Identifying, documenting, and prioritizing external defects (such as high profile, pass-through and repeat events). This position is also responsible for managing and maintaining documentation for both external and internal events.
  • Request corrective action in case of supplier issues, review and follow up on the proposed and implemented corrective actions by suppliers
  • Develop and maintain an effective monitoring and measurement system for company owned inspection tools, torque tools and other calibrated equipment.
  • Assist in documentation and coordination of inspection activities utilizing inspection tools and equipment.
  • Participate in PPAP activities.
  • Manage all quality management system (QMS) and ISO documentation and distribution, facilitate and monitor necessary changes to QMS, and preparation of audits perform internal audits as required.
  • Propose and follow up on solutions to Quality Assurance opportunities for improvement. Develop and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.


Strong skills with Microsoft Office and supporting tools

Auditor ISO 9001

Oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities

Data gathering and analysis

Measurement and control

Quality systems management experience

Proficient and experienced with inspection tools (Micrometers, hardness tester etc…)

Supplier Quality experience

Working knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods


Bachelor Degree - Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field

Preferred Degree - Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field


Quality Inspection 5 years minimum; all with tools, methods and analysis


Internal Auditor ISO 9001


Internal auditor ISO 14001
