PURPOSE

This position provides support to Global Business Process Owners(BPO) in the coordination, measurement and analysis of metrics used to track process adherence. Specifically,

  • Supports Global BPOs in drive to standardize global processes and ensure adherence via structured monitoring process and KPI’s. Drive Continuous Improvement and establish/monitor metrics to measure success. 
  • Supports Global BPOs in defining new businesses or refining/improving existing business processes  within the SAP function(s) assigned.  Interacts with other business process analysts and/or Global BPOs as needed to accomplish assigned work.
  • Reviews / approves SAP access requests to minimize risk violations and SOX compliance issues.
  • Serve as Regional BPO to handle day to day support to STARs, Power Users, and/or end users.
  • Updates and/or delivers training to STAR users, Power Users, and/or end users as needed.

Key functional SAP process areas supported by this position include, but are not limited to, Distribution/Warehouse/Logistics, Manufacturing, and Order Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for “End to End” process understanding by functional teams executing the business processes, IT functional support groups and Sr Management.

2. Owns Sub-process design content

3. Responsible for ensuring Training process and materials are in place and sustained

4. Supports functional areas in the development of standard work and/or work instruction content  (in conjunctions with STARS and Global BPOs)

5.  Drive adherence to process by supporting organizations via the establishment and reporting of key process adherence metrics . 

TECHNICAL & FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

  • Knowledge / experience in SAP functional areas of distribution/warehouse/logistics or manufacturing/scheduling/planning
  • Experience in problem-solving and consensus
  • Ability to work at all levels of the organization and to interface effectively with related functions
  • Strong analytical orientation with ability to synthesize data into information
  • Project Management skills
  • Communication skills both written and verbal

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum - Bachelor Degree or equivalent diploma with 5 years experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related fields
